The UFC has booked two pivotal, lightweight fights for its upcoming card in Austin, as Beneil Dariush will battle Arman Tsarukyan and Dan Hooker will throw hands with Bobby Green.
Recently, UFC President Dana White announced via social media that the Dariush – Tsarukyan fight will headline the December 2nd card and that the Green – Hooker bout will co-headline. Both match-ups are scheduled for five rounds.
Tsarukyan (20-3) is coming off a third-round, stoppage win over Joaquim Silva in June. Dariush (22-5-1), meanwhile, was stopped by Charles Oliveira in the opening round in his last outing, which also took place in June.
Hooker (23-12) worked his way to a split decision win over Jalin Turner in his last fight, which went down in July. Green (31-14-1) fought earlier this month and knocked out Grant Dawson in the first round.
Currently, Tsarukyan is ranked #8 in the UFC’s lightweight division and Dariush is ranked #4. Hooker and Green are ranked #9 and #12 respectively.
