UFC Champ Chris Weidman Reporting Knee Surgeries Were a “Success”
By FCF Staff
Chris Weidman has undergone minor surgery to address issues in both of his knees, and the UFC Middleweight Champion is reporting the procedures were a “success.”
Weidman, who was forced to move a bout with Lyoto Machida from May 24th to July 5th, posted on Instagram recently:
“Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. Surgery was a success!”
The Weidman-Machida fight will headline UFC 175, which will be hosted by the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
Weidman (11-0) is coming off his second, stoppage win over Anderson Silva in December, after the latter broke his leg in round two.
