UFC: Conor McGregor to Face Dennis Siver Next
By FCF Staff
Dana White has made the case for Conor McGregor to receive a title shot, but the rising featherweight will have to get through Dennis Siver first.
The UFC has announced that McGregor and Siver will battle in the headliner for its January 18th card in Boston. The Fight Night card will be hosted by the TD Garden.
McGregor (16-2), who has quarrelled with Siver on Twitter in recent weeks, is coming off a quick stoppage win over Dustin Poirier in September. The Irish fighter has won 12 straight fights and is currently ranked #5 in the UFC’s 145 division.
Siver (22-9) worked his way to a decision win over Charles Rosa in his last outing, which took place at a Fight Night card earlier this month. The German featherweight is 3-1, with 1 no contest, in his last 5 scraps and is ranked #10.
