UFC & ESPN+ Announce New Streaming Partnership

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has a new, broadcasting partner, as the promotion’s announced that ESPN+ will begin streaming exclusive fights cards in 2019.
According to the official announcement, ESPN+ will stream 15 events, and each card will include 12 bouts. In addition, ESPN+ will also stream UFC content like weigh-in ceremonies, pre and post fight shows, and new seasons of “Dana White’s Contender Series”.
In the press release announcing the new deal, White was quoted saying:
“I couldn’t be more excited to partner with The Walt Disney Company and ESPN on an agreement that will continue to grow our sport. UFC has always done deals with the right partners at the right time and this one is no exception. We will now have the ability to deliver fights to our young fan base wherever they are and whenever they want it. This deal is a home run for ESPN and UFC.”
ESPN+ is available in the United States for $4.99 a month or $49.99 annually.
