UFC Florida: Krzysztof Jotko Promises to Show He’s a More “Spectacular Fighter” Than Eryk Anders
By FCF Staff
Krzysztof Jotko acknowledges that Eryk Anders is a top athlete, but the Polish middleweight’s very confident that his skills will rule the day against the American.
Jotko (21-4) is booked to fight Anders (13-4) today at the UFC’s latest event, which is taking place in Jacksonville, Florida. While talking to the media recently about the match-up, the 30-year-old said this (quotes via MMA Junkie).
“He don’t have something like super jiu-jitsu or very good standup or something that I need to be scared (of),” Jotko said. “He’s just a good athlete, top guy, and that’s it. I think I’m a better fighter. I’m a more spectacular fighter and I will show this this Saturday.”
And while discussing what he hopes to secure with a win today, Jotko said this.
“I will be so happy to have a rematch with Uriah Hall – that’s what I want.”
Hall stopped Jotko in the second round in September, 2017. More recently, Jotko’s recorded back-to-back wins over Alen Amedovski and Marc-Andre Barriault.
Anders has also won two straight, as he’s coming off wins over Vinicius Moreira Castro and Gerald Meerschaert.
