UFC FN 100: Ryan Bader Talks Free Agency Following One Sided Win

Ryan Bader is about to test the free agent market, and he’ll get to do so, on the heels of a one sided win.

Bader took on rugged vet Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in the headliner of UFC Fight Night 100, which took place in Sao Paulo. Bader dominated the action with his wrestling and ground-and-pound, and stopped the legend in round three.

The fight was the last on Bader’s current UFC deal, so at the post-fight press conference, he was asked about his pending free agency (quote via MMA Fighting.com):

“I got the Lil’ Nog fight and now here we are,” Bader said. “Look, I love the UFC and I love fighting in the UFC. Gotta make sense, though. I’ve been a top 5 for a while, and I want big fights. There’s a big fight coming up in December, so we’ll talk with them and see where we go from here.”

The 33 year-old Bader is currently ranked #4 in the UFC’s light-heavyweight division.
