Rober Whittaker likely locked up a fight with top five ranked middleweight tonight at UFC Fight Night 101, as the surging fighter finished Derek Brunson in round one.

Brunson came out guns blazing, and threatened Whittaker with big punches and takedown attempts. Whittaker, however, weathered the storm well, and proceeded to stun Brunson with a headkick. After the latter hit the deck, Whittaker fired down punches from above, and the fight was called at the 4:07 mark.
