Derek Brunson has won five straight bouts, and has finished his last four opponents, but Robert Whittaker isn’t fazed by all the buzz tied to the middleweight contender.

Not long after Brunson took out Uriah Hall last weekend at UFC FN 94, the promotion announced that he’ll face Whittaker on November 27th in Melbourne, Australia (the card will air in North American on the 26th). Following the booking Whittaker spoke with UFC.com, and while discussing Brunson’s recent run, the Australian stated:

“He hits like a truck with his left hand but he’s got to land that spot on hit, and I’m not afraid of him,” Whittaker said. “I’m not listening to the hype because every other fighter I’ve faced had their own hype train following them. I see holes that I’m going to expose.”

Whittaker, meanwhile, has also won five straight bouts. Most recently, in April, the 25 year-old decisioned Rafael Natal.
