Although Donald Cerrone ended a three fight losing streak last night at UFC FN 126, by defeating Yancy Medeiros, it looks like the rugged vet plans to return to 155.

Cerrone faced Medeiros in the headliner of the event, and stopped the surging fighter in the opening round. After the card, “Cowboy” had this to say, while speaking with FOX Sports 1 (quote via MMA Fighting):

“I want ’55. I want to go get that belt,” Cerrone said.

“Khabib (Nurmagomedov), I’m coming, baby. I’m coming. I ain’t scared to fight you.”

Nurmagomedov is currently booked to fight interim lightweight champ, Tony Ferguson, on April 7th at UFC 223. Cerrone moved up to the welterweight division in 2016, following his stoppage loss to former lightweight champ, Rafael dos Anjos, in 2015.
