Junior dos Santos needs to get past Blagoy Ivanov first, but if he does, it looks like “Cigano” may call out former foe, Stipe Miocic.

Dos Santos will face Ivanov, a former WSOF heavyweight champ, this Saturday at UFC Fight Night 133 in Boise, Idaho. Recently the Brazilian star was asked about his hopes moving forward, and dos Santos said this (quotes via MMA Junkie):

“When you become the champion, you become a target,” Dos Santos said. “Now, the new target for the heavyweight division is Daniel Cormier. Everybody, of course, wants to fight him., including me. And eventually, at some point, it’s going to happen. But the division is living a good moment. I want to do this third fight with Miocic, too.

“That could be a good fight for one of these shows. There are many good fights. The heavyweight division is living a good moment and we can give the fans a lot of excitement.”

JDS battled Miocic for the first time in 2014, and won the fight via unanimous decision. Last May, however, Miocic won the rematch via first round stoppage.

Miocic is coming off a knockout loss to Cormier at UFC 226 last weekend, after he defended the heavyweight title  a record, three times.
