By FCF Staff
The December 7th, UFC Fight Night in Brisbane, Australia will feature another fighter from that nation, as Sydney’s Anthony Perosh has been booked to fight light-heavyweight Ryan Bader.
Perosh (14-7) will be looking to build on the quick, 14 second knockout he recorded over Vinny Magalhaes at UFC 163 in August, which followed his 7 second, stoppage loss to Ryan Jimmo last July. The 41 year-old fighter and decorated BJJ practitioner is 4-1 in his last 5 tilts.
Bader (15-4) was stopped by Glover Teixeira in his last outing, at UFC FN 28 on Septembe 4th, after quickly submitting Vladimir Matyushenko at UFC on FOX 6 in January. The 30 year-old, former TUF winner is 3-2 in his last 5 bouts.
UFC FN 33 will be headlined by a heavyweight bout between “Bigfoot” Silva and Mark Hunt, and will see James Te Huna fight “Shogun’ Rua in the co-main-event. Soa Palelei is also set to meet heavyweight Pat Barry that night.
