Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira quickly fell victim to Roy Nelson’s infamous right hand today at UFC Fight Night 39, as the heavyweight needed less than one round to put away the legendary fighter.

Moments into the headliner, Nelson floored Nogueira with an overhand right, but the former PRIDE champ managed to recover. Not long after, however, Nelson had “Minotauro” in trouble again by landing another hard punch, and eventually KO’d the veteran with a booming right.

In the co-main-event, Clay Guida’s frenetic pace and wrestling was too much for Tatsuya Kawajiri, as he worked his way to a unanimous decision win over the rugged featherweight.

Here are the results from UFC FN 39, which was hosted by the du Arena in Abu Dhabi.

Roy Nelson def. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira via KO (punch) R1, 3:37

Clay Guida def. Tatsuya Kawajiri via unanimous decision

Ryan LaFlare def. John Howard via unanimous decision

Ramsey Nijem def. Beneil Dariush via TKO (strikes) R1, 4:20

Jared Rosholt def. Daniel Omielanczuk via unanimous decision

Thales Leites def. Trevor Smith via TKO (punches) R1, 0:45

Jim Alers def. Alan Omer via split decision

Johnny Bedford vs. Rani Yahya declared no-contest (accidental head butt) R1, 0:39
