Zak Cummings will not face Kenny Robertson on July 16th as expected, as the welterweight has been tapped to replace Ryan LaFlare at UFC Fight Night 46.

The UFC has announced that the latter has withdraw from his bout with Gunnar Nelson, due to an injury, and that Cummings will be his replacement.

No details regarding LaFlare’s injury were provided. The promotion is actively looking for a new opponent for Robertson.

Cummings (17-3) heads into the July 19th card having won four straight fights, and is coming off a decision win over Yan Cabral.

Nelson (12-0-1) tapped out Omari Akhmedov, with a first round, rear-naked-choke in his last outing, and has gone 3-0 in the Octagon to date.

UFC FN 46 will be hosted by the O2 in Dublin, Ireland and will feature Conor McGregor taking on featherweight Cole Miller.
