The Ultimate Fighting Championship has announced that RFA veteran Alan Jouban will make his Octagon debut versus Seth Baczynski, August 16th. The welterweight fight will be part of UFC Fight Night 47, which will be hosted by the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine.

Jouban (9-2) joins the organization having gone 4-1 with Resurrection Fighting Alliance, and most recently, he scored a split decision win over Ricky Legere Jr.

Baczynski (19-11) is looking to rebound from a decision loss to Thiago Alves, after he defeated Neil Magny by UD in November. The rugged vet is 2-3 in his last five contests.

Some of the other bouts scheduled for UFC FN 47 include Ovince St. Preux vs. Ryan Bader, Tim Boetsch vs. Brad Tavares and Shawn Jordan vs. Jack May.
