Now that Mark Hunt has emerged from UFC Fight Night 52 with a stoppage victory over Roy Nelson, and a “Performance of the Night” bonus, the heavyweight’s looking to get right back into the Octagon.

Following the event, which went down in Saitama, Japan, Hunt relayed the following about his next bout in the event’s post-fight presser:

“I want to move forward. I want to move up in the rankings, I want to get a title shot; my purpose is to fight for a title,” said Hunt. “Fighting someone outside of the top ten, win or lose, it makes me go backwards sort of thing…of course I’d consider fighting someone outside the top ten if it was Sydney, so what’s up boss?”

Hunt is referring to the upcoming, UFC Fight Night card in Sydney, Australia, which will take place on November 8th.

The New Zealand fighter has gone 3-1-1 now in his last 5 scraps and is currently ranked #6 in the promotion’s heavyweight rankings.
