After spending over a year on the sidelines due to injury, Chan Sung Jung finally has his next fight booked.

The UFC has announced that the featherweight contender will take on Akira Corassani at its October 4th, Fight Night card in Stockholm, Sweden. The bout will co-headline the event.

Jung (13-4), or “The Korean Zombie”, hasn’t fought since he was stopped by champion Jose Aldo last August. “TKZ” separated his shoulder in the bout.

Prior to the defeat the South Korean fighter had scored consecutive wins over Mark Hominick, Dustin Poirier and Leonard Garcia.

Corassni (12-4) will be looking to get back on track after he was stopped by Poirier in April. Heading into the bout the Swedish fighter had recored victories over Maximo Blanco (via disqualification), Andy Ogle and Robbie Peralta.

UFC FN 53 will feature a welterweight fight between Gunnar Nelson and Rick Story in the main event.
