Frankie Perez has found out he’ll be making his UFC debut next month, as the lightweight has been tapped to replace Francisco Trevino, who was scheduled to fight Johnny Case on January 18th.

Trevino has been forced to withdraw from UFC FN 59, however, due to a rib injury.

Perez (9-1) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Tom Marcellino at WSOF 14 in September, and the New Jersey fighter had fought solely for Ring of Combat prior to that.

Case (19-4) made his UFC debut in September and choked out veteran Kazushi Tokudome with a first round, guillotine choke.

UFC FN 59 will be headlined by a featherweight bout between Conor McGregor and Dennis Siver.
