Following Al Iaquinta’s impressive, stoppage win over Joe Lauzon at UFC 183, the powerful lightweight has been booked to fight another established vet, Jorge Masvidal.

Masvidal was recently left without an opponent for the April 4th, UFC Fight Night 63 card, after Benson Henderson was pulled from the match-up, and will face Brandon Thatch on February 14th.

Iaquinta (11-3-1) has finished Rodrigo Damm, Ross Pearson and now Lauzon, since he was choked out by Mitch Clarke at UFC 173 last May.

Masvidal (28-8), meanwhile, is also riding a three fight winning streak, and most recently in September, he decisioned James Krause.

UFC FN 63 will be hosted by Fairfax, Virginia’s Patriot Center and will feature a featherweight bout between contenders Ricardo Lamas and Chad Mendes in the main event.
