UFC FN 75: Michael Bisping is Picking “Crafty” Gegard Mousasi to Defeat Uriah Hall
By FCF Staff
Uriah Hall has a great opportunity this weekend to rise up the UFC’s middleweight ranks, but according to Michael Bisping, he doesn’t see the feared striker defeating Gegard Mousasi.
Hall will take on the #6 ranked middleweight at UFC Fight Night 75 on Saturday, which will take place in Japan. In the latest “UFC Tonight“, Bisping was asked for his thoughts on the co-headliner, and here’s what he had to say (quotes via FOX Sports 1 release):
“He has all the talent and all the tools to win, but he has struggled in his fights. He’s kind of flashy, but needs to prove it and be better against Gegard, a top-10 guy. He has to bring his A-game. I believe Gegard will take him down and expose his weakness, which is grappling, and get him in one of those crafty submissions.”
“Mousasi is too experienced. He’s too crafty. He knows every trick under the sun and I’m telling you he’s going to take it to Uriah. I think he wins by submission.”
Mousasi (37-5-2) is coming off consecutive wins over Dan Henderson and Costas Philippou, after he was submitted by “Jacare” Souza last September.
Hall (11-5), on the other hand, stopped Oluwale Bamgbose in his last outing. Prior to that he lost by split decision to Rafael Natal.
