After stopping Oluwale Bamgbose earlier this month, Uriah Hall already has his next bout, and it’s against middleweight contender Gegard Mousasi.

Mousasi was scheduled to fight Roan Carneiro at UFC Fight Night 75 on September 26th, however, the UFC has announced that the latter has withdraw due to injury. Hall has agreed to step in and replace Carneiro at the event, which will take place in Saitama, Japan.

The nature of Carneiro’s injury was not disclosed.

Hall (11-5) was coming off a split decision loss to Rafael Natal prior to stopping Bamgbose, and has gone 4-1 in his last 5 fights.

Mousasi (37-5-2) is coming off victories over Costas Philippou and Dan Henderson, after he was submitted by “Jacare” Souza in September, 2014. The #6 ranked middleweight is 3-2 in his last 5 bouts.

UFC FN 75 will be headlined by a heavyweight fight between Josh Barnett and Roy Nelson.
