UFC FN 78: Neil Magny Gets by Kelvin Gastelum
By FCF Staff
Neil Magny survived a late surge from Kelvin Gastelum at UFC Fight Night 78 to earn a split decision win over his fellow, welterweight contender.
Magny moved ahead in the opening rounds of the card’s main event, but in round four, Gastelum dropped him twice and proceeded to outscore him in round five. Two of the judge’s apparently decided it was too little, too late, however, and handed Magny the win.
Here are the results from UFC FN 78, which took place in Monterrey, Mexico. Of the card’s 13 bouts, 9 went to decision.
