UFC FN 84: Anderson Silva Compares Decision to “Total Corruption”

Anderson Silva

By FCF Staff

Anderson Silva received his third defeat in his last five fights at UFC Fight Night 84, but the former champ clearly believes he won the card’s headliner.

Silva took on Michael Bisping on Saturday, and after losing the opening frames, the legend came in round three. In fact, after Silva crushed Bisping with a flying knee as he called on the referee to return his mouthpiece, the legend thought the bought was over. It wasn’t. The round had come to an end.

During the remaining two rounds, Silva stunned Bisping badly with a front kick, and bloodied the middleweight further. But, the gritty vet also kept attacking and pressed the action. The British fighter was awarded the bout, which took place in London, England, via a unanimous decision.

Silva spoke in Portuguese after the bout, and according to a report from MMA Fighting.com, here is what the Brazilian star said:

“Here’s the deal, you can’t win one way, they try to take it away the other way. That’s it,” Silva said in Portuguese. “You saw how that went, right? So, there’s nothing left to say. I fought for you, and that’s it. Thank you for the support. My family, I’m coming back home, I’m fine. Mission accomplished, mission given, but sometimes it’s like in Brazil, total corruption.”

With the win, Bisping extended his winning streak to three.
