UFC FN 84: Anderson Silva Insists He’s Not Bothered by Michael Bisping’s Verbal Jabs
By FCF Staff
Michael Bisping has blasted Anderson Silva about his PED suspension, and recently confronted the former champ about it, but the legend says he’s not bothered by the comments.
Silva and Bisping are scheduled to fight in the main event of UFC Fight Night 84, which will take place on February 27th in London. After an open workout for the card recently, Bisping approached Silva and made a joke about the fighter’s well documented defense for his PED scandal. The two proceeded to have words while the media watched.
When Silva was asked if he was upset with Bisping, as a result of what happened, the middleweight stated (quote via UFC.com):
“Come on people,” Silva said through his translator and manager, Ed Soares. “I’ve been in this sport a long time and people have said a lot of things. Once the Octagon door closes, it always changes.”
UFC FN 84 will be hosted by London’s O2 Arena. The card will be broadcast on Fight Pass.
