Alistair Overeem extended his winning streak to four today in electrifying fashion, by taking out his teammate Andrei Arlovski at UFC Fight Night 87.

Arlovski came out aggressively to start the fight, but Overeem weathered the storm and  emerged unscathed. In round two, Overeem began to find his range, and blasted Arlovski to the jaw with a jumping kick. The latter remained on his feet, but Overeem followed up with a huge left hand that sent Arlovski to the deck. After several more punches from above, the fight was called.

After the bout, Overeem said he hopes to fight the winner of next weekend’s heavyweight fight between champion Fabricio Werdum and Stipe Miocic. The former Strikeforce and DREAM champ wants to face the winner at Madison Square Garden on November 12th.
