UFC FN 92: Yair Rodriguez Outlines What he Learned From Cain Velasquez During TUF Latin America

Yair Rodriguez has done nothing but win since he competed on TUF: Latin America, but the Mexican fighter says Cain Velasquez taught him to be humble, during the competition.
Rodriguez was coached by the former heavyweight champ during the show, and proceeded to decision Leonardo Morales to win the tournament. In advance of Rodriguez’s bout this Saturday with Alex Caceres, he was asked what he learned from Velasquez, on the latest “UFC Tonight” (quote via FOX Sports 1 press release):
“You talked to me about being humble and working hard. But also, don’t look over your contender. Also, Cain told me, look for a good girl to be with.”
Rodriquez also had this to say, about representing Mexico:
“I’m representing my country, my culture and all of Latin America. I want to be the guy to grow the Mexican market.”
Most recently, Rodriguez KO’d Andre Fili in his last bout. Caceres, meanwhile, decisioned Cole Miller.
UFC FN 92 will take place in Salt Lake City, Utah.
