After agreeing to step in for the injured Cody Stamann a few weeks ago, now John Lineker has also been forced out of a scheduled fight with Rob Font.

Lineker was set to face Font in the co-main event of UFC Greenville Saturday. But, following an initial report from MMA Junkie that Lineker is withdrawing, the latter’s manager, Alex Davis, has told MMA Fighting “Hands of Stone” incurred a cut over his right eyebrow Thursday night. As a result, the Brazilian contender can no longer compete.

The 29-year-old Lineker (31-9) is coming off a split decision loss to Cory Sandhagen in April, after defeating Marlon Vera and Brian Kelleher in back-to-back bouts.
