Nate Diaz made it clear he wants to fight Jorge Masvidal again, immediately after their bout last November, and now it’s being reported the UFC is working on a rematch.

The welterweight stars fought at UFC 244 last November and Masvidal recorded a TKO win. But, since the fight was stopped due to cuts Diaz had by his right eye, he called for a rematch.

The UFC opted to move forward with a fight between Masvidal and welterweight champ, Kamaru Usman. The two finally fought this past July and Masvidal lost by decision.

More recently, TMZ reported that the UFC is working on Masvidal – Diaz 2. UFC President Dana White has told ESPN that the promotion is negotiating the fight, and while there’s interest, it’s not signed.

The hope is to have the bout take place on December 12th at UFC 256.
