UFC Las Vegas: Bruno Silva One of Four to Pick up Bonus
By FCF Staff
The UFC’s latest card in Las Vegas took place on Saturday, and surging flyweight, Bruno Silva, was one of four fighters to earn bonuses.
Silva was awarded a “Performance of the Night” bonus for his second-round, submission win over Tyson Nam. Silva had floored Nam with a front-kick to the face, before applying the fight finishing choke.
The flyweight earned $50,000 for the bonus.
“Fight of the Night”, and $50K respectively, went to light-heavyweights Vitor Petrino and Anton Turkalj. Petrino won the entertaining contest via unanimous decision.
The other “Performance of the Night” bonus went to bantamweight Davey Grant, who choked out longtime contender, Raphael Assuncao. Gravey ended the bout with a late, third-round, inverted triangle.
