Benson Henderson returned to the win column tonight at UFC on FOX 10, as the former lightweight champ worked his way to a split decision win over rugged vet Josh Thomson.

Despite injuring his hand early in the bout, Thomson managed to take Henderson down on several occasions and take the fighter’s back. Henderson was able to work his way out of the precarious positions, however, and pushed the action throughout much of the competitive fight.
