Following his impressive, decision win over Phil Davis last month, Anthony Johnson has been booked to fight accomplished veteran Antonio Rogerio Nogueira on July 26th.

The light-heavyweight scrap will be part of UFC on FOX 12, which will go down at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

Johnson (17-4) extended his winning streak to seven with the win over Davis, which also marked the first time he had competed in the UFC since 2012. The only man to defeat the 30 year-old in his last ten bouts is Vitor Belfort.

Due to injuries, Nogueira (21-5) hasn’t fought since February, 2013, when he scored a decision win over Rashad Evans. Nogueira has gone 3-2 in his last 5 contests, with additional wins coming over Jason Brilz and Tito Ortiz.

The 37 year-old fighter’s losses during that stretch came against Ryan Bader and Phil Davis.

No other bouts have been confirmed yet for UFC on FOX 12.
