The line-up for UFC on FOX 14 has received a late change, as the promotion has announced that Paul Redmond is stepping in for the injured Alan Omar.

The latter was scheduled to fight Mirsad Bektic at the event, which will take place on January 24th in Stockholm, Sweden. No specific information regarding the nature of Omar’s injury was included.

Redmon (10-4) makes his way to the UFC having gone 4-1 in his last 5 fights. Most recently,  the Irish featherweight submitted Alexis Savvidis while competing for Cage Warriors in August, 2014.

Bektic (8-0) is coming off a decision win over Chas Skelly last April, which marked the American Top Team fighter’s UFC debut.

UFC on FOX 14 will feature a light-heavyweight fight between contenders Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Johnson in the main event.
