Myles Jury will have to wait even longer for an opportunity to get back on the winning track, as the UFC has announced that the lightweight contender has withdrawn from UFC on FOX 16 due to injury.

Jury had been scheduled to fight Edson Barboza at the July 25th event. The nature of Jury’s injury was not disclosed.

Stepping in for the lightweight will be Paul Felder (10-0), who is coming off a highlight reel, knockout win over Danny Castillo in January. “The Irish Dragon” has gone 2-0 thus far in the UFC.

Barboza (15-3) is looking to rebound from a decision loss he suffered versus Michael Johnson in February. The noted striker has gone 3-2 in his last 5 bouts and is ranked #7 in the 155 division.

UFC on FOX 16 will be hosted by the United Center in Chicago, and in the main event, bantamweight champ TJ Dillashaw will face Renan Barao.
