Although Ronda Rousey is coming off consecutive, stoppage defeats, and it’s not clear if she’ll return to the Octagon, Julianna Pena is still hoping to fight the star.

Pena is booked to face Valentina Shevchenko this Saturday at UFC on FOX 23, and if she wins, the 27 year-old could lock up a bout with 135 champ Amanda Nunes. Currently Pena is ranked #2 in the women’s bantamweight division.

The TUF 18 winner appeared on the latest “UFC Tonight“, and during her interview, she had this to say about Rousey (quote via FOX Sports 1 press release):

“I predicted she was going to get knocked out and she did. So I looked like a genius. She was a bully and was rude to me in the house on TUF. She killed the little kid’s dreams. I had a bad experience with her from day one. I think she’s not a very nice person. I’d love to fight her one day.”

Pena is coming off a decision win over Cat Zingano last July. UFC on FOX 23 will take place in Denver, Colorado.
