UFC on FOX 3: Nate Diaz Becomes First Man to Stop Jim Miller

Nate Diaz took a significant step forwards in his quest for a lightweight title shot tonight in East Rutherford, New Jersey, by becoming the first man to stop fellow contender Jim Miller.

After surging ahead on the scorecards in round two with strikes, Diaz caught Miller with a beautifully executed guillotine choke, which forced the BJJ black belt to tap out.

With the victory, Diaz has won three straight fights since returning to the lightweight division and carries a record of 16-7.

Miller, who has gone 3-2 in his last five bouts, saw his record drop to 21-4.
