The line-up for the December 14th, UFC on FOX 9 card continues to near completion, as the promotion has announced that flyweight contender John Moraga will fight Darren Uyenoyama at the event.

The card will be hosted by the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California, and will be broadcast on FOX.

Moraga (13-2) will be looking to rebound from the fifth round, submission loss he suffered versus champion Demetrious Johnson at UFC on FOX 8 in July. The powerful flyweight scored a KO win over Ulysses Gomez and a submission win over Chris Cariaso to secure a title shot.

Uyenoyama (8-4) is also coming off a loss, as the noted grappler was stopped by Joseph Benavidez at UFC on FOX 7 in April. Prior to the defeat the veteran recorded victories over “Kid” Yamamoto and Phil Harris under the UFC banner.

UFC on FOX 9 will feature lightweight champion Anthony Pettis taking on Josh Thomson in the main event. In the co-headliner, Urijah Faber will fight fellow bantamweight contender Michael McDonald.
