Anyone who caught the three round bout between lightweight contenders Ben Henderson and Clay Guida at last night’s UFC on FOX 1 card, should not be surprised to learn that the two men received “Fight of the Night” honors for the memorable fight.

For their efforts, which saw Henderson score a unanimous decision win and move into the number one contender spot, both men collected an additional $65,000.

“Knock-Out of the Night” went to newly crowned heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos, who finished Cain Velasquez off with a overhand right and follow up strikes in just over one minute. The Brazilian also received an extra $65,000.

And “Submission of the Night” went to featherweight Ricardo Lamas, who caught Cub Swanson with a beautifully timed, arm-triangle-choke to force the BJJ black belt to tap-out in round two.
