The August 17th, UFC on FOX Sports 1 card in Boston has been forced to make a change, as according to the promotion, Andy Ogle has been forced to withdraw from the event due to a staph infection. As a result, featherweight Max Holloway has agreed to step in and fight Conor McGregor, who Ogle had been scheduled to meet.

McGregor (13-2) scored an impressive, TKO win over Curtis Brimage in his Octagon debut at UFC on FUEL TV 9 in April. The victory extended the 24 year-old fighter’s win streak to nine.

Holloway (7-2), on the other hand, is coming off a tough, split decision loss versus Dennis Bermudez at UFC 160. Holloway had defeated Justin Lawrence, Leonard Garcia and Pat Schilling in consecutive bouts heading into the loss.

UFC on FS1 1 will feature former light-heavyweight champ “Shogun” Rua taking on Chael Sonnen in the main event.
