By FCF Staff
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Fabricio Werdum have cleared the final hurdle to their main event tilt tomorrow night at UFC on FUEL TV 10, as both men made weight this afternoon in Fortaleza, Brazil.
The former PRIDE champ Nogueira came in at 237 pounds while the highly regarded Werdum tipped the scales at 242.
Nogueira handed Werdum a unanimous decision loss in their initial meeting, which took place at a PRIDE event in July, 2006.
The card, which will be broadcast on FUEL TV, will also feature the welterweight finals of “TUF Brazil 2”. Both William Macario and Leonardo Santos weighed in at 170 bouts for the bout.
A scheduled middleweight bout between Ronny Markes and Derek Brunson will not take place, as Markes was reportedly injured in a car accident today and can no longer compete. He is not believed to have incurred serious injuries.
