Although Ross Pearson thought he had broke his foot, while warming up backstage for his bout Saturday with Ryan Couture, the UFC vet is reporting that the injury is not as serious as he feared.

Pearson has posted the following update via his personal Twitter account:

Thank U everyone for support! Docs said not broken! Crazy night

Pearson (15-6) put Couture away with a series of punches in round two at the UFC on FUEL TV 9 event, which took place in Stockholm, Sweden. The British fighter was coming off a stoppage win over George Sotiropoulus in December, which marked a successful return to lightweight, following at TKO loss to Cub Swanson last June.
