After quickly taking out Andrei Arlovski at UFC 194 this past weekend, Stipe Miocic only has two men in front of  him now in the heavyweight rankings.

The promotion has released its updated rankings, and Miocic has risen one ranking spot and is now sitting in the #2 position. Former champ Cain Velasquez is ranked #1, behind champion Fabricio Werdum.

Alistair Overeem, who stopped Junior dos Santos last month, rose two positions and is now #3. Arlovkis and JDS fell one spot each and are #4 and #5 respectively.

In another interesting development, Jon Jones has returned to the #1 ranking in the pound-for-pound division. Jones, who hasn’t competed since last January, was ranked #2 prior to this weekend. Flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson was ranked #1.

The latter hasn’t fought since September when he decisioned John Dodson.
