By FCF Staff
Nate Landwehr extended his winning streak to three at UFC San Antonio on Saturday, and the charismatic featherweight also scored a fight night bonus, again.
Landwehr received a “Performance of the Night” award, and an additional $50,000, for his second-round, submission win over Austin Lingo. Landwehr applied a fight-ending, rear-naked-choke during a scramble, to end the entertaining bout.
The 34-year-old fighter has received bonuses in his last three appearances.
The other “Performance of the Night” went to featherweight Daniel Pineda, for his second-round, tap-out of Tucker Lutz. Pineda finished the fight with a guillotine choke.
“Fight of the Night” went to flyweights Daniel Lacerda and CJ Vergara, which saw the latter record a second-round stoppage via strikes.
