Jailton Almeida recorded a clear-cut win over Derrick Lewis at UFC Sao Paulo. But, the rising heavyweight was unable to finish Lewis, who emerged from the fight relatively unscathed.

Almeida repeatedly took Lewis down in the main event and controlled the fight from the top. But, Lewis worked his way out of every submission attempt and Almeida offered few strikes from above.

With the win, Almeida moved his record to 20-2. Lewis saw his record fall to 27-12 with the defeat.
