The Ultimate Fighting Championship has added another former Bellator champ to its roster, as the promotion has confirmed that welterweight Lyman Good will take on Andrew Craig on July 15th.
Good is stepping in for the injured Edgar Garcia at UFC Fight Night 71, which will take place in San Diego, California.
The 30 year-old Good is coming off a submission win over Nah-Shon Burrell, while fighting for Cage Fury Fighting Championships, and has gone undefeated in five straight bouts. The New York fighter tried out for TUF 19, but was eliminated by Ian Stephens in the competition’s opening round, and did not make it into the fighter’s house.
Good has gone 8-2 in his last 10 fights. Craig (9-3), meanwhile, has lost back-to-back bouts to Cezar Ferreira and Luke Barnatt.
UFC FN 71 will be headlined by a heavyweight bout between Frank Mir and Todd Duffee.
