UFC Sinagpore: Diego Sanchez Responds to Demian Maia’s Callout

Following Demian Maia’s victory over Ben Askren at UFC Sinagpore, the legendary submission artist relayed he wants to fight Diego Sanchez. The rugged vet was quick to respond.
Maia faced Askren in the headliner of Saturday’s event, and he proceeded to choke the decorated wrestler out with a third round, rear-naked-choke. Afterward, the 41-year-old Maia (28-9) said he plans to fight two more times and that he hopes to face Sanchez in one of them.
Since then, the 37-year-old Sanchez shared out these comments:
Let’s go @danawhite I didn’t get the go on the @showtimepettis fight I have paid my dues, only you know the truth of my last outing. Let’s put it together Jan 18th in Vegas!!! two legends want to dance let us dance! @ufc
Sanchez (29-12) is coming off a decision loss to Michael Chiesa in July after winning back-to-back fights.
