The January 31st, UFC 183 card has picked up a notable middleweight fight, as Tim Boetsch will battle fellow top 15 ranked Thales Leites.

Boetsch (18-7) will be looking to build on his memorable, stoppage win over Brad Tavares in August, which follow a submission loss to Luke Rockhold in April. “The Barbarian” has gone 2-3 in his last 5 fights and is ranked #13 at 185.

Leites (24-4) continues to roll since he returned to the UFC last year, as the former #1 contender has won four straight. Most recently, Leites KO’d Francis Carmont at a Fight Night card in August. The Brazilian fighter is currently ranked #11.

UFC 183 will take place at a venue-to-be-determined in Las Vegas, and will feature Anderson Silva taking on Nick Diaz in the headliner.
