The Ultimate Fighting Championship has confirmed several fights for its summer schedule, including a middleweight scrap between Tim Boetsch and Brad Tavares.

The two will fight at an August 16th, UFC Fight Night card, which will go down in Bangor, Maine.

Boetsch (17-7) is coming off a quick, submission loss to Luke Rockhold, after battling his way to a split decision win over CB Dollaway.

Tavares (12-2) will be looking to rebound from a decision loss he suffered versus Yoel Romer, which snapped his five fight win streak.

The UFC has also announced that Shawn Jordan will battle heavyweight Jack May at the August 16th card.

In addition, the promotion has confirmed that strawweight Claudia Gadelha will fight Tina Lahdemaki July 16th, and that Brian Ortega will fight featherweight Mike De La Torre on July 26th.

A previously reported bout between Thiago Alves and Jordan Mein for August 23rd has also been confirmed. That card will also feature Tom Niinimaki fighting featherweight Chas Skelly, and Timothy Elliott versus flyweight Wilson Reis.
