Saturday’s UFC Vegas 33 card has taken a hit, as it’s being reported the fight between Chris Daukaus and Shamil Abdurakhimov has been postponed.

The heavyweight bout was supposed to co-headline the event, which will take place at the Apex Facility.

But, recently TSN’s Aaron Bronsteter reported that sources had informed him the fight’s been postponed. The reason for why the fight’s been delayed has not been disclosed.

The two were scheduled to fight at UFC Vegas 32 last weekend, but the fight was pushed back, after someone in Abdurakhimov’s team tested positive for COVID-19.

Abdurakhimov (20-5) hasn’t fought now since 2019, when he was stopped by Curtis Blaydes. Prior to that, the Russian fighter had won three straight.

Daukahus (11-3), meanwhile, is coming off a stoppage win over Aleksei Oleinik in February. The American has won four in a row.
