Edson Barboza recorded a pivotal and memorable win at UFC Fight Night 81, but the veteran fighter didn’t do so, unscathed.

Barboza took on fellow, featherweight contender Sodiq Yusuff in the main event. Not long into the fight, Yusuff had Barboza in all sorts of trouble, after tagging him with hard punches. Barboza managed to survive, however, and proceeded to outscore Yusuff for the remainder of the fight. That included stunning Yusuff badly with a spinning wheel kick in round three.

The former lightweight was awarded the fight by all three judges.
