UFC Vegas 84 is taking place on Saturday night, but the card will proceed minus one of its key match-ups.

Flyweight Manel Kape came in several pounds overweight for a scheduled bout with Matheus Nicolau, and ultimately, the bout was called off.

The card will be headlined by a light heavyweight fight between contenders Magomed Ankalaev and Johnny Walker. The two initially fought in October, 2023. However, the fight was declared a no-contest, after Walker could not continue following an illegal knee to the head.
