Tai Tuivasa didn’t need long to bloody Marcin Tybura at UFC Vegas 88 on Saturday. But, the longtime, heavyweight contender turned to his ground game to score a first-round, finish.

Tuivasa came out firing heavy punches and elbows, and cut Tybura in the opening minutes of the headliner. Tybura was able to take the Australian down, however, and eventually worked his way into a fight-ending, rear-naked-choke.

With the win, the Polish fighter moved his record to 25-8. Tuivasa, who has now lost four straight, saw his record fall to 14-7.
